Listen to your entries with Read Aloud
You can now listen to what you wrote. Open an entry in the askora app and choose Listen at the top.
Two ways to listen
- Device voice · free: Your device or browser reads the entry. You can keep listening to saved entries after your trial ends. Available voices depend on your device and browser.
- AI voice: For Korean, English, and Japanese entries, choose from six voices suited to that language. Korean entries can be read with a Korean-accented voice. You get three reads during your 30-day trial, or up to 60 minutes each month while subscribed.
Choose your preferred AI voice for each language in My Page → Reading voice. In the entry reader, use the − / + buttons to adjust the speed from 0.7× to 1.5×. Markdown symbols in headings and links are not spoken.
When you choose AI voice, the app sends chunks of the selected entry's text through askora's server to Google's Gemini speech model. Your original entry is not changed, and the generated audio is not saved with your entries. Vault entries are never sent for AI voice. You can still use device voice for them.
