Paste a link and get a summary saved, and recall reads it too
There is one more way to save a link. Open the askora app on a computer.
Link summary
- Paste: On the write screen, press Link summary and paste an address. askora reads the page and sums it up in 3 to 5 lines. No Chrome extension needed.
- Save: The same window as the extension clip opens. Add a one-line note and save. The summary is stored separately as an "AI summary" and never mixed into your note.
- What does not work: Pages behind a login and sites that block reading. Use the Chrome extension for those.
- YouTube: Paste a link and Google Gemini watches the video and lists it by time before it is summarized. Times in the summary jump to that moment. Public videos only.
- Phones: The write screen has a Link summary button. Showing askora in the phone's share list is in progress.
- Passwords and API keys: A page or text that looks like one is not sent to AI. It is saved to the Vault without a summary.
Recall reads the summary
Recall now reads the AI summary of pages you saved. When an answer rests on one, the evidence card says AI summary and the answer starts "According to the AI summary". Your own words and the AI's are never shown as one.
Entries screen
In a long list, the reading panel on the right follows you down, so an entry lower in the list shows its text. Opening another entry starts again from the top.
