Set an alarm on an entry
You can set an alarm on an entry that carries a date, such as "Oct 16: subscription ends". It works in the iPhone app from version 1.0.20. Get it on the App Store.
How to set one
- Open an entry and choose Remind me in the ⋯ menu. While writing, it is under Add.
- Pick a date and a time.
- Repeat: once, daily, weekly, monthly or yearly.
- Alert: on time, 5, 15 or 30 minutes before, 1 hour before, 1 day, 2 days or 1 week before. You can pick more than one, and each one is its own notification.
- Tapping the notification opens that entry.
Good to know
- The alarm is scheduled on this device. Its text does not leave the phone and it does not reach your other devices.
- For an entry in the Vault, the notification shows "Vault entry" and no title.
- You can keep up to 60 alarms. Deleting the entry or signing out removes this device's alarms.
- A monthly alarm set on the 31st skips months that have no 31st.
Also changed
- With Face ID on, the Vault asks for it when you open it. If you cancel, you open it with the number pad.
- The entry reader now fills the screen.
- The iPhone gives a small vibration when you tap, switch things on or off, and when something is saved, paid or fails.
