The "Clip" Chrome extension and this week's update
The askora Chrome extension Clip is on the Chrome Web Store. Add to Chrome
Clip: save it the moment you see it
- One click: the toolbar icon, the right-click menu, or Alt+Shift+S saves the page you are on.
- AI summary: as you clip, AI writes a 3–5 line summary. It is always labeled "AI summary" and kept apart from your own note.
- YouTube times: for videos with captions, each summary line carries its time. Tap the time in the app to play from that moment.
- Just a few lines: select the sentences you need, right-click, and they are saved with their source.
- Tags: your existing tags are used first, so tags don't multiply.
Later, ask "What did that article say last month?" and askora finds the clipped page and your own notes together, with the original words and the date.
Also new this week
- Photos: up to 10 photos per entry, resized on your device with location data removed. AI does not read photos.
- Move in from other apps: upload exports from KakaoTalk, Notion, Obsidian and Bear, Day One, Evernote, or Google Keep. Original dates are kept, and files are read on your device.
- Underlines: underline the sentences you want to keep and find them under "Underlines" in the Library.
- Recall: while you wait, askora shows what it is looking for and the entries it is checking. The server now runs in Seoul next to the data, so answers arrive sooner.
- Read aloud: quotes, lists, tables, code blocks, and clip AI summaries are read too. AI summaries are announced as "AI summary" first.
Send ideas or problems with Send feedback in the app. We read every one.
